The Relationship Room is the counselling practice of Sabrina Barbara Grabow. This policy explains how I collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 2020. By using this website or my services, you agree to this policy.

I may collect: your name and contact details; information you share when you enquire or attend sessions, which may include sensitive personal and health information; and basic technical data the website collects automatically (such as general analytics). I only collect what I need to provide a safe, professional service.

How I Use Your Information 

I use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and provide counselling sessions, issue invoices, and keep the clinical records I am professionally required to keep. I do not sell your information, and I do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Confidentiality 

What you share in sessions is treated as confidential and held within the ethical framework of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors. There are limited legal exceptions — principally where there is a serious and imminent risk of harm to you or someone else, or where disclosure is required by law. I will always seek to discuss any such situation with you wherever it is safe and appropriate to do so.

How Your Information Is Stored 

Your information is stored securely, and clinical records are kept for the period required by professional and legal obligations. I take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

Third-Party Tools 

I use trusted third-party services to run my practice — for example, video conferencing (Zoom), email, and website hosting (Framer). These providers have their own privacy policies. I choose providers that take privacy and security seriously.

Your Rights
